I was living in Los Angeles (specifically, in Van Nuys) in April 1992 and found myself in the middle of the Los Angeles Riots. While the nation's focus was on South Central L.A., the impact of the riots was everywhere. From assaults in the valley to National Guard troops on the streets enforcing curfews, no one was immune to its impact.
For whatever reason, I decided to keep a journal of the events as they unfolded during that time period. Finally, 15 years later, I am getting them down in electronic form on this web site.
